Be stoic if you want to get out of the woods! Kaizen your self-discipline.“You can do anything! “That's right you can do any one thing just not everything, but anything that you commit to. And continue to commit to because nothing will ever be perfect so get the sh@t done!

Is the key to everything self-discipline because without it you wouldn't be able to master ‘even’ one thing? It's actually the why, energy, ultimately motivation.


Singular Focus

When you break life up like by using a to do list as soon as you check off just one to do you get a dopamine rush. Dopamine is a pleasure chemical in our brain when you eat dark chocolate this pleasure chemical get activated. When you scroll through social media this pleasure hormone gets activated. When you run for 10 minutes or do something high intensity this pleasure hormone gets activated. Dopamine makes you want to repeat a action thats why you continually go on social media because your in a dopamine feedback loop. If you can't take a break from food/social media this means your over producing this hormone which means your body will develop a resistance to it. If you can't take a break from high insulin raising food you'll develop a resistance to the hormones insulin and get diabetes which is not a disease just insulin resistance. What singular focus does is re-balances your hormones it allows you to be present and tune into your productive instincts. When singular focus is enacted you are subconsciously powerfully choosing one thing to focus on if trained enough.


How to Train Singular Focus?

Start by asking why several times. Ask why than another why to that why and so on so forth. Your brain will eventually stop resisting not wanting to do what you want and actually do it. The more separated you are when focusing on getting something done the more diluted the work will be. Undiluted your work by asking why and even having a picture of the why on your computer top corner of your screen. There's no point in doing work for the sake of doing work there's always a incentive, reward, freedom etc that comes from the work. Why singular focus? Singular focus allows you to use more of your brain on each task and therefore you'll get the tasks done more efficiently. Are brains primary driver is dopamine. Rewards, incentives, novelty, and ultimately just more dopamine makes us do tasks. Use rewards to your advantage even small ones help. Are brains don't no the difference between an event and the imagined event. You experience the same hormone from the imagined or actual event so don't take this lightly.
