Quantification is the way to better flipivation. On a serious note just keep adding to your pile of good things instead of trying to fix all your problems. Just let your pile of good things grow like warming up before a session. Eating peanut butter 2 hours before a session. Waiting to train on grass. Having good form. Learning better techniques, consistently failing to fail. viewing sessions/training as a sport or just something greater, etc.
Better Sessions
You'll remember the feeling of the session not the thoughts. Session means a period devoted to a particular activity. What you do although it may be particulate and needing of quantification it's fun. If the process wasn't as fun as the product you'd not see Usain bolt training so much. The process repeated over and over becomes the end product. Usain Bolt trains at the same 100% intensity as he does when he's racing. Flip sessions in my experience are better with others who want to achieve similar feats like doing a backflip 360. In which if I didn't session with my friend I wouldn't of learned a backflip 360 as fast as compared to if I was by myself trying to learn from YouTube.
Plan your days and weeks. When you make flipping about more than you it really is more than you and you do more than you could do by yourself. I believe doing a tumbling pass that has corkscrews in it or scoot full wraps requires two or more. "When two or more gather there I am." Why I say two or more is because you get to try others technique vs. your own and it works for the most part. Never not have a session just because you don' have a training partner. Theres so much that requires a lot of time to work on when it comes to tricking that you may reach out to others after a month of getting the basics down. If you got chicken legs train your chicken legs! A lot of flippers injure their ankle due to a lack of strength.
