Today's Blog Simplified

If your not getting enough height your not spending enough time doing what it takes to get enough height, so the solution is to spend more time getting height! Not worrying about working out your legs, doing vertical training, box jumping, explosive workouts, but rather height training where you train getting more height for a backflip. You don't need to train your vertical for a backflip unless it's really bad just a high backflip itself.

As I'm writing this I'm chronically sleep deprived which means my muscle, brain, and body didn't heal as readily due in part that I have a highly ignorant family that our school system hasn't taught about health. A highly ignorant needy people due to the fact the education is a means to just, "meet lifes situations." It isn't built to bring you out of tyranny.


This tyranny my family is under and the most ignorant excuse for eating (stupidly like at 3, than 5, than 9am than a donut on top of those meals) I hear is, "I'm hungry." "My stomach is hurting." Chances are your body is not where you want it to be and it's not you it's just the outrageous false advice you were given when it comes to health. Health is primarily psychological. You can believe you need to eat in this certain way and you do it and the body is smart and it adapts.


Your preventing the body from adapting or using it's anti-inflammatory fuel(fat) by saying, "I'm hungry." "My stomach is hurting." Whats actually happening is that your stomach is just picking up the leftover food in it. This is that gurgling sound you get and it means your actually digesting food which takes 8 hours or more in the digestive system. You have juices that make a gurgling noise which pick up the leftover food in your digestive system. Now you don't have to believe the lies that empty stomach feeling actually means your body needs food. Instead you can believe truth and have a fat adapted body in which you can happily sleep every night with knowing that your body is pulling energy from your fat while sleeping.


If you wake up to a hurting stomach and you have more body-fat than you need just go back into a parasympathetic state where your in a surplus of calories a.k.a fasting like we all do we are fasting when we sleep. Do deep breathing do a gratitude journal. Journaling or just the act of writing down thoughts and beliefs that would keep you up helps the never stopping brain calm. It doesn't matter what thoughts or beliefs just write that junk down and when this habit is kept up you are more focused on what really matters therefore relaxed. Just like our heart are thoughts cant stop beating or else we'd be elsewhere. Most importantly if you don't want to jeopardize sleep is to not consume anything and to just try to enjoy the moment and relax, be present with your stomach juices. Relaxing not going to sleep. Sleep is not something you have it's the result of something you do. Relaxing by repeating a mantra like, "I'm not this body." As you breathe in, "I'm not this mind a you breathe out." You really arnt the things you do so reminding yourself of relaxing mantras puts you back into a restorative anti inflammatory parasympathetic state while eating puts you in a sympathetic inflammatory state.


A rule I've been following and my bodies adapted to is never eating at night. I'm not even awake at night and if I was in which I've been for quite some time due to my family not being able to not be hungry and need to gorge themselves every 3 hours therefore being carb burners not fat burners. Yah that's if I was awake. Awake due to usually one of my family members munching and making meals while I have to listen to the pain there inflicting on there body's. Pain from the processed crushed up flakes from enriched bread. Stupid fortified bread with a ton off added sugar because it's fake! They take all the vitamins out of bread bleach it than chemically fortify or add into the fake bread vitamins that are body doesn't know what to do with. Are bodies don't know what to do with synthetic vitamins other than to pee them out. If you get a food based multivitamin than the body can actually digest vitamins that are fat soluble or need another environment to be absorbed.


Isn't it a pain to perform poorly mentally, physically, emotionally, etc It's a pain to have to eat every 3 hours because your metabolic machinery can't use your adipose tissue(fat) for energy. It's a pain not though when you can use your adipose tissue for energy actually and you can test, feel, see that insulin is low therefore your in ketosis. It's a pain not when you only need to eat once every 2 days or 1-2 x a day and the rest of the time your just not hungry and using your insane 100k and upward calories of fat. It's not a pain when you don't have to try and sleep in a almost 80 degree house in October while outside is 72 degrees with a breeze and you fall asleep. It is a pain though when you have to listen to your ignorant family wake you up throughout the whole night and than try to cool your body and lower your cortisol in order to go back to sleep in a overheated house 8 months of the year.

8 months of the year I've had to deal with my families rancid subconscious habits. Children oxidize fat for fuel 30-40% better than adults because they when sleeping like we're all supposed to. Are using their stored food (fat) Studies show we actually get more restorative sleep when your in deeper ketosis. Children like me and my 8 year old sister don't eat a ton of sugar and carbs because we don't burn that. Are metabolic machinery is fat adapted.


My 8 year old sister Jairis I see go into the kitchen a few times in the day but she has small portions of food like a vegetable or she'll take a few bites of whatever is in the fridge or she'll make a perfect thing for those that are fat adapted being a egg to eat. Rarely does she get a sugary bowl of cereal. Which I still don't know (the weird subconscious thoughts) why my mom wastes her money on cereal with 1/3 of it's weight being sugar! When the best delicious foods are from mother nature and even cheaper than buying crap meat with neurotoxins like msg and canned crap with even more neurotoxins.


Back to lucky Jairis who has abstained from the tyranny. Jairis rarely finishes her bowl of cereal. How I know this is that I have a room which I do work in everyday and this room is connected to the kitchen so everytime someone frequently goes into the kitchen the back of my mind knows what's up. As I'm typing this theirs usually always something going on in the kitchen or next to it that my ears indirectly hear.


I know the frequency in which my family members go into the kitchen not on purpose. I know that my mom binges and eats around 4-5 times a day. Bingeing by the way just means spiking insulin meaning you store fat and never be able to access it because you can only burn sugar (food) to do insulin resistance. Furthermore are bodies only know what a meal is not some processed chips with additives that make us wan't to eat more. Eating more way more calories than we did just 50yrs ago sends us into fat storage not fat usage mode. Snacks are fat storage high calorie meals nowadays.


My sister Delilah eats 2-3x daily with snacks usually. My Sister Aura eats 4x daily with snacks and Jairis doesn't eat meals just real food 3x a day usually. Jairis is and most kids are in a deficit when it comes to calories consumed in the day meaning most kids use fat as there primary source of energy. Telling a child to finish there meal when there metabolic machinery isn't like yours is ridiculous and this is why 2 out three kids by 2050 will have diabetes if we keep giving them wrong advice and currently 2 out 3 people in the U.S. are overweight basically borderline obese. Obesity is 7x more lethal than smoking. Point put down.


Get More Height

Now that I got that dilemma put down lets get actually into today's blog which is about getting more height with your flips. Getting more height requires more mitocondria more energy so after reading this make sure you aernt chronically sleep deprived when you train. I guarantee you that if you didn't sleep properly that the next day your testosterone will be 20% lower if you test it.


Progressions are how you achieve the move called, "higher height." progressions could be practicing standing in place and jumping up 10 times as high as you can flexing the toes downward in order to engage the calfs and fully push off the ground like a kangaroo for 3 sets. Why like a kangaroo? Well because humans have 3x more recoil capability in their legs than kangaroos meaning are muscle fibers don't break down as readily as a kangaroo. Meaning we take less energy when bouncing off the ground while running as opposed to pushing yourself to go fast. Meaning we can outrun all land animals when it comes to distance. A human can run 6 miles and be fine the next day and do it again while a kangaroo can't.

Adapt

We are very adaptable beings. We can lift 4x are bodyweight. We can store 5x are bodyweight in fat. We have hardware and software instincts that make us naturally and biologically fit. If your reading this you will get results if you implement and execute. Simply jump exploding up using good form and extending fully you arms as high as possible when jumping up. Increase the reps or sets for jumping up. Increase the amount of backflips you do over time. If after a month because muscle takes a long time to build. Seriously studies show we can only pack on a half a pound of muscle every week and we can still build muscle with just 800 calories a day, so all ya'll bulking out their need to stop and get tested for the protein you actually need to build muscle on training days. Ya'll need to stop worrying and start living. Start having the habit of adaptability. Are bodies are very intelligent. Again we have a lot of recoil. We can do a thousand repetitions of a movement everyday and are bodies will grow used to it etc.


We are very adaptable beings and if you've hit a plateua after at least 4 weeks of training for, "more height." than mix it up and make the body adapt again because the only reason your not improving in bodyweight or bodyweight movements like the backflip is because the body adapted and it's went back into a set point or what scientists like to call homeostasis which states that are body doesn't use more than it needs to. Force your body though to adapt and use more than it needs to survive by doing this, "routine." to improve your height substatially.
